80 Day Obsession Program Details

80 Day Obsession Details

Yes, you know me. I’m already thinking about my post babies comeback. But there’s a good reason for my excitement – Beachbody is releasing a brand new program on January 15th, 2018 by one of my favorite trainers, Autumn Calabrese. This program will take 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme to the next level – this is a 3 month program that will literally transform your body if you take it seriously. It is on the level with P90X, which is my favorite program of all time. However, this program is more female focused than P90X – therefore there is more emphasis on the butt (there’s an entire workout each week dedicated to booty), legs and abs.

One of the most unique things about 80 Day Obsession is that there are 80 unique workouts. Autumn literally filmed 80 days straight, 80 different workouts. You will never know what to expect when you push play. Autumn will train you like you’re getting one on one training (Autumn charges $200/hour to personally train someone – do the math! $16,000 is the investment of having her train you for 80 workouts). You literally won’t hear the same two jokes (sorry Tony but your jokes did get old after 90 days). The workouts are similar week to week, but Autumn will use things like periodization to get you the most incredible results ever. You may be lifting lighter weights with more reps one week during your booty workout and the next week heavy weights and fewer reps. You won’t get bored!!! And your body will NEVER get bored which mean you won’t plateau.

This program isn’t for someone looking for a quick fix – I truly believe this can be a life changing, just like P90X was a life changer for me. This is a great program for someone who thinks “I can’t lose weight.” “My body is just the way it is.” but who ISN’T happy with the way they feel and look. If you commit to this program, you WILL see results. I truly believe in you. Will it be easy?! No! Will it be worth it!? YES!

80 Day Obsession
My Original P90X Results

80 Day Obsession Highlights:

  • Release Date: January 15, 2018
  • Difficulty Level: Moderate-Advanced (With modifier if needed)
  • EVERY workout is unique. 80 Days of different workouts. Get trained like Autumn would train a client in the gym.
  • Program Length: 13 Weeks
  • Workouts: 6 Days/Week (Rest Sundays)
  • Workout Length: 35-60 minutes
  • Strength and Cardio workouts
  • Required Equipment: Weights, Slides, Loops & Mat
  • Meal Plan: Timed-Nutrition using Portion Fix Containers

I have been blown away by the test group’s results. Here are some 80 Day Obsession results. Check out one of our team leader’s results from the test group here.

80 Day Obsession Nutrition – Guess Work Gone

One really cool thing about 80 Day Obsession is the nutrition plan. Do you get overwhelmed and just want someone to tell you exactly what to eat? That’s what 80 Day Obsession does for you. They haven’t released the full plan so I don’t have a ton of details, but this is what I do know:

  • Based on a theory of “timed nutrition” – Autumn will tell you what time of day to eat each of the food groups to maximize results
  • Uses the color-coded portion fix containers for easy measuring
  • Healthy and delicious recipes included
  • Includes “re-feed” days (guessing these are similar to a “cheat” day?)
  • Recovery fueling will be key to get you ready for each day’s workouts
  • Vegan/Vegetarian plans available

80 Day Obsession and Running

I have not yet done the program so I cannot give you a breakdown of how it can be completed with running (yet). Many would say P90X was too intense of a program to be completed with running yet I trained for marathon while doing P90X. No, I don’t think everyone will have the time commitment or energy to take on two feats at once, but there are ways to modify any program to fit in with your running schedule. Like I said before, the program emphasizes butt and legs, so I expect your legs will be fatigued regularly. Would I recommend taking on this program during peak marathon training? No. Would I recommend this as an off season or early training season program to get strong and lean heading into your best training season yet? Heck yes!!!

I don’t know exactly how life will be with twins and a toddler, but I HOPE to be able to complete 80 Day Obsession (probably not 100% to plan, let’s be realistic – but as close as I can!) next year sometime (maybe June!?). I’ll probably get in a few runs when possible, but given my schedule, a home workout program will be a lot easier for me to fit in. After I complete the program, I’ll probably focus on training for a half marathon while modifying 80 Day Obsession or going back to one my old favorites (21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, Shift Shop).

Want To Get Obsessed?

80 Day Obsession officially launches on January 15th and I will be providing you with 13 weeks of back to back challenge groups to support you through (you can start any month, a new challenge group will begin each month), starting on January 15th. I really recommend starting in January if you can because there will be SO MUCH momentum and excitement around this program and you’ll have the absolute best support through your journey. That being said, you’ll want to do this program during a time you CAN commit completely to it (we did P90X in January-April and I found that to be a great time of year since there are fewer social obligations – plus, you’ll look great at the beach or pool come summer).

If you want to be in an exclusive challenge group run by Autumn, you CAN do that too (but must purchase before January 15th). I’ll get give you all the options when you contact me about signing up for this program.

A Little Obsessed – Get a Sneak Peek for Free

The “preview” program, “A Little Obsessed” officially launches on December 20th. These workouts are only 30 minutes and a less intense version of 80 Day Obsession. If you’d like to check it out and also get a taste of what you can expect in my challenge groups, please contact me – I can get you set up with a free 14 day trial.

If you’re interested in 80 Day Obsessed but aren’t sure if you’re physically ready yet, we can start you off with 21 Day Day Fix in January (I have another group starting January 8th) and then get you into 80 Day Obsession when the time is right. The great news is that you get BOTH programs for the same price with your 1 year membership to Beachbody on Demand.

Ready to Get Obsessed?

Contact me using this form and let’s get you set up! Don’t miss out on the excitement and promotional pricing now. I’m here for any questions you have may have as well.

Sounds intense! I’m a die-hard P90X fan, and actually was considering hanging with Tony come January 😉 It’s been awhile since I’ve heard any of his dorky jokes LOL

Sounds like it’s going to be a great program! I’d loved to do something like this but not sure if I can commit to 6 days a week to one program!

The workouts are all different, every single day so it won’t be boring even though it’s 6 day a week. I can reach out if you want to learn more?

I am planning to do this after I have recovered from the Boston Marathon. I am thinking that it would be perfect for May/June/July. I plan to run too, so maybe we can figure it out together. Looking forward to trying it out!!!

Interested to hear, now that it’s released, if you have any additional thoughts on incorporating it with a running schedule. I’m only running 3 days a week and have been able to incorporate the Chisel videos beautifully. I want to do this program but I’m thinking it will be more challenging, especially taking the times nutrition into consideration as well. My half is the first weekend in May. I’ve ran a few half and a full before so I’m not a beginner but I took a few months off after my full in October so I kind of feel like a beginner! Ha! Thanks in advance for any insight/advice!
