2019 Goals & The Word I Want to Define My Year

elite beachbody coach

2019 is here! I know I am always saying it, but time just goes too fast! I am looking forward to 2019 because I feel like now that the twins are getting a little older (and more and more fun!), I am able to start to thrive instead of just survive! 2018 was all about giving myself grace, and in 2019 I am ready to work toward some big goals.

I thought long and hard about my goals for this year. In the end, I have one big goal this year and it is the driver of the word I selected to define my year. In the past, my goals have been very self-focused. This year, my goals are strongly directed toward helping others.

The Word I Want to Define My Year

Last year, my word was grace. And it definitely defined my year – it was a tough one!

In 2019 my word is LEAD.

This year is going to be all about leading. I am going to lead hundreds more women to attain their health and fitness goals. I am focusing on improving my challenge group experience even more so that even more women are experiencing life-changing breakthroughs in them!

I am going to take my team to new heights this year and help a minimum of five women per month experience the fulfilling path of becoming a health and fitness coach for themselves. I am going to dedicate myself to mentoring them, showing them the way I have become successful in my coaching business despite having NO background in health/fitness or running my own business. I’m by no means perfect, but I do know that with a little diligence, passion and a lot of learning along the way, anyone can be successful as a Beachbody coach. I want to help women have the opportunity to follow their passion instead of doing a job they fell into just to pay the bills but they don’t fell fulfilled by, to not have to stress about missing work when their baby is sick, to not have to squeeze quality time in with their kids for the 30 minutes between daycare pickup and bedtime, and to feel internally motivated, excited and fired up about working every single day.

I’m going to use my extensive knowledge of building a community on social media and online (blogging is totally optional, just an outlet I like to use, I encourage all my coaches to focus on a medium that is most natural and enjoyable for them), get them up and running with the proven systems I’ve put in place, and help them achieve their business goals, whether that’s to just earn a little income on the side, or to turn their coaching business into a six figure plus business. I want to help women become empowered, excited and motivated to coach – by helping others learn what I’ve done, I am able to impact SO many more lives!

Check out my coaching page to learn a little more about what I do and if it could be a good fit for you to join my team and be mentored by me this year!

My 2019 Goals:

Become an Elite Beachbody Coach. An Elite Beachbody coach is not only changing the lives of their clients through health and fitness but who has built a team of other coaches who have also become leaders within their organization. An Elite coach is a one of the highest ranks in Beachbody, but most importantly, it means I’m able to reach and lead even more people who want to follow their passion and work for themselves. Coaching has changed me and my family’s life and I love sharing this opportunity with others who are passionate about health and wellness and want to join our community and pay it forward!

Read or listen to 6 personal development books this year. Personal development makes me a better businessperson, athlete, friend, mom and all around person. Last year a lot of the books I read (Girl Wash Your Face was a great one!) focused on self-care and mindset. This year, I’m focusing specifically on leadership books. I’m already halfway through my first and loving it.

Establish a morning routine that starts BEFORE my kids are up. Right now I wake up to the sound of a baby fussing or a 3 year old asking for help going to the potty. I feel like I’m playing defense, not offense and I never know exactly what time I’ll be up. I want to take control of my day in the morning before my kids have a chance to control it! Plus, if I’m able to get a handle on my day and get my workout in before they’re up, I’ll be more present for them in the mornings instead of distracted or frazzled.

My primary goal is to start with January and commit to waking up before my kids every single morning Monday-Friday. After a month, I’ll reassess to see if this is working with our schedule and tweak it if needed.

Complete Transform:20 including nutrition plan & at least one other Beachbody program start to finish. I absolutely can’t wait to start Shaun T’s new Transform:20 on January 14th (you can still join us if you want!) – the 20 minute workouts will definitely help me achieve my morning routine goal too! Also, rumors are that Autumn Calabrese is coming out with a brand new Beachbody program in summer 2019, so I am very excited to do that program!

Follow My Gut When It Comes To Running. I don’t have a specific running goal this year. For the first time in years, I’m learning to just enjoy running for what it is, and am not feeling a drive to hit PRs or train for a marathon…but that’s right now. I’m enjoying running 3 days  week, with one longer run on Saturdays, but I’m also liking the idea of not feeling like I HAVE to do speed work or run long . I know that this can change over the year, so I’m making it a goal to simply listen to what my intuition is telling me when it comes to running and go with that. I still have some races planned this year though!

I want to hear one of your 2019 goals or the word that  you want to define your year.

P.S. My exclusive Transform:20 accountability group starts next Monday, January 14th and I’ve got 5 spots left! Use this form to get more info and claim your spot! 20 minute workouts, 6 days  week, 36 unique workouts. No weights and high energy!
