The next apprenticeship starts on February 10th, 2020!
When I first started as a Beachbody coach, 3.5 years ago, I simply enjoyed fitness, fell in love with our programs, and wanted to share them with others. I didn’t overthink it. Yes, I was a bit nervous for what others would think and never wanted anyone to think I was pushing something on them that they didn’t need, but I truly believed in what I was offering and really knew how much Beachbody could also change their lives.
I was on maternity leave with my first daughter and thought that coaching would be a fun way to earn a little extra income. Once I was back at work full time, I realized that my heart was pulled in many different directions. The daily grind of working full time in a demanding job with a commute, daycare drop off and pick up, breastfeeding, pumping, bottle washing and packing lunches to do it all over again the next day wore on our entire family.

My husband still looks back and says that this was the hardest time of our lives. I wanted more flexibility and time freedom and I wanted to be doing fulfilling work. Even though I was working full time and already had a VERY full plate, I continued to grow my Beachbody coaching business while working because it truly felt like a hobby – something that I looked forward to learning about and growing. Our team was so positive, supportive and uplifting and that wasn’t something I was finding often in the corporate world.
One day I hit breaking point and remember sending my husband a message while at work, tears in my eyes. “I feel like I’m juggling a hundred balls and dropping them all. Something needs to change.” He agreed, and we made a plan for me to leave my job, even though it was something we did not think financially possible before. I started to save every penny I earned in my coaching business and I left my job to be home with my daughter and also grow my business.
After a year, I got pregnant and we found out we were having TWINS. I was scared that I wouldn’t have time to workout, let alone grow a business. Instead, what happened was that my coaching business and the wonderful team we have kept me motivated, excited and SANE during the most intense year of my life after the twins were born.

And somehow, through all of this, I turned my little hobby into a full-time income, while working part time hours, doing something that doesn’t even feel like work. I’ve made incredible friendships, been accepted by a community of likeminded women, earned free trips, and have gotten int o the best shape of my life as a mom of 3 kids under 4 years old.

I truly LOVE what I do as a coach, and I’m SO passionate about sharing not only our life changing fitness and nutriton programs with others, but also to help women start a fulfilling business of their own so that they can enjoy the time freedom to spend their days with who they want, when they want.

I Was Scared Too…
I’ve been in your shoes – it can be a little scary to think about doing something unconventional. It can be scary to put yourself out there and it can be scary to invite others to join you, even if you really do believe in something! Believe me, I was not a social media expert – I was just an accountant and a runner who fell in love with fitness. Instead of focusing on what I wasn’t or what I lacked, I simply started learning, and took it day by day.
When I’m nervous to invite someone to join me, I remind myself that if I found anything else I loved – a new restaurant that’s kid friendly, a 5K race near my house that I can’t wait to run, a great find at Target – I never hesitate to share it with others. Why should I be afraid to share something that can potentially CHANGE someone’s life forever!? Something that could help someone be a better example for their children?
