Sometimes my challenger’s results simply BLOW ME AWAY.
I’ve been a Beachbody coach, running accountability groups and setting people up with our programs and nutrition plans for 3.5 years now. I truly believe in our programs and their ability to change people’s lives. They’ve changed MY LIFE and every time I help a challenger do the same thing, it re-confirms that this is my calling. While our programs 100% work, they only work if you put in the work. And not everyone is willing to do that. My challenger, Ashley, put her excuses behind her and got to work.
It’s my pleasure to share with you the incredible transformation a fellow twin mom, Ashley, had with the new program Morning Meltdown 100, after having her twins earlier this year. This transformation, as you’ll read, was most significant on the INSIDE, not the outside. While she looks incredible and lost a significant amount of weight, hearing the impact that our programs have had on her mindset, energy and lifestyle was the most rewarding part of being her coach.
Incredible Dedication to MM100 & Ultimate Portion Fix Despite Obstacles

before starting MM100.
Ashley started Morning Meltdown 100 while living in her mom’s house on east coast and completed it there for 40 days before moving back to the west coast. Ashley, her husband, and her twin infants were living there to spend time with her mom who is suffering from a terminal illness during her maternity leave. Around day 40, she moved cross country and she returned to work as a nurse where 12 hour shifts are the norm.
For those that aren’t familiar with the program, MM100 has 100 workouts. Each workout is 20-30 minutes long and the program can be done at your pace, whether that’s 60 days by doubling up or 100 days (or longer). Ashley finished in 100 days! She also used Ultimate Portion Fix for her nutrition (MM100 also comes with its own nutriton program, Ultimate Portion Fix is a more comprehensive program).
In Ashley’s words, “I have never been in a busier more emotionally taxing season of life than I’m in right now. I didn’t complete this program in spite of all the challenges that surround me. I completed it because of them. Nourishing myself and “indulging” in regular self care allows me to thrive (yes, thrive) in all areas of my life. “
My Interview With Ashley, 35 year old mom of twins
Why did you decide to join the Morning Meltdown 100 challenge group?
[Ashley’s twins were 5 months old when she started MM100.]
I was doing nothing with any amount of consistency for myself. Meals were whatever was around or whatever looked good and exercise was haphazard. I knew I needed something. Home workouts and a structured program made sense while caring for 2 infants full-time. In the past, I had belonged to boutique fitness studios or worked out with friends. Being a new mom made that old life logistically difficult, so it was nice to find a community that I could still join to work on fitness goals.
What was your biggest obstacle during the program and how did you overcome it?
Workouts have always been easy enough to prioritize for me. So I knew I’d be able to manage that. In fact, 30 minutes a day didn’t *feel* like enough. My weak spot has ALWAYS been food and I knew I wanted to prioritize nutrition. So I let my preconceived notions about the exercise go and decided to approach the task differently.
I went all in with focused nutrition and tried something I had never done. I followed the Ultimate Portion Fix nutrition plan and pre-planned out every bite of food I put into my mouth a week in advance, one week at a time.
This was the GAME CHANGER for me. Planning my meals ahead of time allowed me to choose satisfying and delicious meals that kept me from feeling deprived, but that I knew were balanced. I say it’s the easiest diet I have ever done because the will power didn’t come in the form of constantly feeling like I was depriving myself of food. Instead it came with meal planning and prepping. That took some dedication but the results were absolutely worth it.
What was your favorite MM100 workout (and why)?
Probably Meltcon. I felt like I was showcasing all of the moves I had learned during the previous workouts. Jericho also has good energy and kept the pace moving without tiring me out too much between back-to-back sets.
How did completing Morning Meltdown 100 make you feel?

When I started, I didn’t know that I’d be able to do it because 100 days seemed overwhelming. But I put effort into succeeding from every direction and hoped for the best. It also helped that I promised myself a $1,000 shopping spree if I finished it without cheating (this is the only thing that kept me from eating Halloween candy!). I hadn’t really bought clothes (aside from maternity clothes) since 2017!
If I had to describe the feeling of finishing in a word, I’d use re-centered. It’s better than feeling proud or accomplished or ecstatic like I won some prize. Of course I did feel those things, but I’m glad that I didn’t feel like I was at my endpoint when the 100 days ended. The 100 day journey really brought me into myself and taught me what to value moving forward. Eating well makes me feel better and creates more energy for myself and those around me. 100 days of consistent strength training gave me real power in my body-it makes my jobs as a mom and a nurse flow more easily.
Share any physical results and the timeframe that you achieved them in.
I lost 30.2 pounds and 21.5 inches in 100 days!

What was your favorite thing about the accountability group in the My Challenge Tracker App?
It helped to surround myself with people who were following the same lifestyle as me [fellow moms, even twin moms!]. It normalized the process, and I would have felt like I was missing out if I didn’t get my workouts in and follow the meal plan.
I also followed a lot of Instagram accounts of people going through the program. Constantly reminding myself of my new normal helped me stay consistent.
Ashley’s Tips For Achieving Great Results With Morning Meltdown 100 (or any Beachbody program!)

Morning Meltdown 100!
My biggest tip for success is to go ALL IN.
1. Pre-schedule your workouts. Don’t just say you’re going to fit them in.
2. Pre-plan your meals. You will slip (on some tired night, some rushed morning, some unexpected social outing) if you don’t have a game plan.
3. Drink the Shakeology. I had a backlog from other failed months on the program. So I just added it in even though it felt like a gimmick. It helped. It’s my afternoon pick-me-up. I search for recipes and have a ton of different creations. I don’t use it as a protein shake where i sneak in veggies. It’s my daily dessert treat!
4. If you’re buying the Shakeology, you may as well sign up to be a discount coach. You’ll save money.
5. Practice being a coach. If your ultimate goal is financial freedom and coaching, the lower bar of taking charge of your fitness will be easier to achieve.
6. Surround yourself in the community. I recommend finding some Instagram accounts that inspire you.
7. Do all of the things your coach tells you to. Take the before pics, the measurements, fill out the journals, etc. That might be what makes *this time* different.
8. Reward yourself for your success!
