I hope you are safe and healthy. Right now I am thankful that my main problems are that I’m simply inconvenienced due to the Shelter in Place Order in California and that I worry about all the people financially and physically impacted by all of this. I’m so thankful that my family and friends are healthy. Despite that gratitude, I’m not going to lie and say being locked inside with 3 kids 4 and under has been easy or that I haven’t lost my patience or gotten VERY down about it at times. But I am trying my best to stay positive and actively manage the amount of time I spend consuming media about it.

My running training group has now been canceled as well as the races I planned to do. I want to continue to improve my running, but there are times when its just hard for me to get out for a run, now that my 4 year old is out of preschool and my mom is no longer coming to help us out with the kids once a week! 

I thought most likely many of you are in the same position. In the past when I shared my favorite Beachbody workouts for runners, I shared workouts that focus on strengthening the body to get it more durable and fit for running hard. But I thought maybe you’re looking for some workouts that you can do to REPLACE some of your runs instead right now. 

Here are my 5 favorite Beachbody on Demand workouts to boost cardio fitness and improve running:

  4. 6 Weeks of the Work (or 4 Weeks of the Prep): Endurance and Agility
