What Is the 21 Day Fix BODi Super Block
The 21 Day Fix Super Block starts on April 3, 2023. It is a workout program from Beachbody, now BODi. A Super Block is a remake of a favorite Beachbody program, with all new moves, new motivation and hit music. How is 21 Day Fix Super Block different than 21 Day Fix?
I did the original 21 Day Fix from Autumn Calabrese after having my first daughter in 2015. It shattered my belief that workouts had to be 1 hour long to be effective & helped me get back to my pre-baby weight and fitness.
The 21 Day Fix Super Block is going to feel like a whole new program to 21 Day Fix fans but with a familiar vibe! And yes, Kat (the Modifier) is back!!
I was part of the BOD Cast for 21 Day Fix Super Block so I’ve done the entire program already. Trust me, you will LOVE it!
It’s efficient and effective just like the original. The 21 Day fix Super Block has even more motivational pep talks & has Autumn’s own curated playlists to match the mood of the workout. I finished every workout feeling like my body AND my mind got a workout and it impacted my energy and motivation positivity for the entire day!
The 21 Day Fix Super Block is different than the original 21 Day Fix Program in these ways:
- All the moves in the new Super Block are completely different. The format is the same (1 minute moves, 30 second rest, 2 sets). They’re still simple moves that can be modified for beginners, but they’re brand new (and amazing!).
- 21 Day Fix Super Block has 17 total workouts – 5 workouts/week plus 2 “Up” week workouts . You will repeat the moves in each workout (for example Upper Fix has the same moves week 1, week 2 and week 3 but Autumn’s motivation and content is different each week). The original had 21 workouts – 7 per week, repeated (same EXACT workout replayed again).
- The new super block doesn’t have pilates or yoga. Autumn encourages you to do these on the weekend if you need more or want an active recovery.
- Both workout programs include a bonus ab workout, but in the 21 Day Fix Super Block the workout is 5 minutes (a BODI “5er”)
- The new 21 Day fix Super block is on BODI – all workouts on BODi are set to hit music. Autumn created a new playlist for EVERY workout and is very thoughtful when choosing the vibe in comparison to what she’ll be talking about that day.
My Favorite Change – 21 Day Fix Super Block Has More Focus on Mindset & Self Acceptance On the Path to Growth
One BIG change is that now Beachbody has changed it’s name to BODi and with that, is more focused on “Health Esteem” instead of just physical results. In the original 21 Day Fix, Autumn was incredibly motivational. She changed a lot of lives. She also talked a lot about things like getting shredded and getting abs.
But…9 years later, she’s a different trainer and Beachbody is a different company (literally, it’s not publicly traded and has a new name – BODi). Autumn helps you transform your body – but she encourages you to accept yourself for where you are today while wanting to change.
Autumn gives motivational pep talks, tells stories of overcoming hurdles, weaves in her personal story….it truly feels like a mini mindset podcast with workout moves. I really, really enjoyed it. I was going through a tougher time with my own mindset before I started the program and this program truly helped me become more optimistic, proud of where I am today, and excited for the future.
21 Day Fix Super Block Results – Not Just Physical!
I was already pretty fit going into this round of 21 Day Fix. However, even without following a nutrition program (which I highly recommend if you have weight loss goals), I saw some great body composition changes. I feel stronger (lost 2 pounds), my pants are fitting better, and most importantly – I have more self acceptance.
I have a huge goal of becoming a Top 10 BODi coach this year, and when I started February, I found out we were ranked #41. I was feeling a bit discouraged & worrying about how far we had to go. But, throughout the program, I found myself getting more confident about my ability to lead our team to Top 10.
Thanks to Autumn’s encouragement, I stopped focusing on the ways I was failing and starting looking at all the ways I was succeeding! 41 is darn close to 10! We’re doing a LOT right. 4 Ways to Unlock the 21 Day Fix Super Block (And Any Super Block)
So how do you get the 21 Day Fix Super block (or any super block for that reason?)
Super Blocks are only available to BODi members (if you are a Beachbody on demand member that has not yet upgrade to BODi, you can learn how to upgrade to BODi here).
BODI members have access to 4 regular BODi Blocks a month, But Super Blocks must be unlocked. If you’re a BODi Member, there are 4 ways to unlock a BODi Super Block:
